Peter Seib and Jeny Snell will be standing for Brympton at May's election to the Somerset Council.
Jeny is a teaching assistant at Preston Primary, helps to run an under 7s Football team and is passionate about improving facilities for local families and improving footpaths across Yeovil.
Peter works for the MOD, chairs the Community Association and is a trustee of two local education charities. He has helped shape this area since 1995 and knows you have to involve the community to get plans right.
Both are experienced Parish and District Councillors, working hard to protect services and to help local residents with their issues and ideas. The new unitary council should meet the needs of local people better than a two-tier system - but that needs a change from the old County ways.
Peter and Jeny are the only people who can beat the Conservatives in Brympton and stop further Conservative cuts.
The Lib Dem plan for our area
Protect local services
In the face of irresponsible Conservative Government and County Council cuts to our funding, Liberal Democrat run District Councils have prevented cuts to our vital local services.
Improve our environment
The Liberal Democrats are actively improving our environment. We are investing in local parks, planting trees, and promoting renewable energy across Somerset.
Invest in our communities
Peter and Jeny have secured funding to replace the Oak Tree Park Skate Park and have worked to improve access between Larkhill and Abbey Manor. We are also campaigning for better community facilities for Lufton.
